In a continued trend of consolidation among professional service firms, Forvis Mazars has announced the acquisition of Florida-based MSL, P.A., effective November 1. This acquisition strengthens Forvis Mazars’ presence in Florida, adding new offices in Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and Tallahassee. The deal, whose financial terms were not disclosed, aligns with Forvis Mazars’ strategic growth plan and boosts its reach across key sectors.
Forvis Mazars, with over $2.2 billion in U.S. revenue and more than 7,000 team members, gains MSL’s team of approximately 120 professionals, including 14 partners. MSL brings a strong reputation and 50 years of experience in audit, tax, and consulting services, with a focus on healthcare, public sector, construction, and nonprofit sectors. This acquisition offers MSL clients access to a wider range of resources through Forvis Mazars’ global network, which spans 103 countries and offers extensive training and professional development.
Forvis Mazars, itself a result of the 2022 merger of BKD CPAs & Advisors and Dixon Hughes Goodman, continues its rapid expansion following its June merger with Mazars and the September acquisition of ConTech360. This consolidation trend reflects the growing demand for broader, integrated services within the professional services industry.
